Application of compost tea, co-inoculation and inorganic fertilization on Swiss chard plants

چکیده

Swiss chard is a horticultural crop with highly nutritious value. These crops’ production required nutrients, which can be provided through mineral nutrient solutions or biofertilizers. Biofertilizers are products that contain beneficial microorganisms improve soil quality and promote plant growth. Additionally, these carry out nitrogen fixation phosphate solubilization. The present work assessed the application of compost tea, co-inoculation (Azospirillum Glomus), inorganic fertilizer over growth (roots, stem, leaves) content in (Beta vulgaris var. Forhook Giant) plants. was carried greenhouse using randomized complete block design. plants treated tea + fertilization (CTIF) accumulated more root stem dry weight (4.06 8.10 g respectively), and, on other hand, leaf increased under three treatments: (IF), (CTCi) CTIF (12.5, 9.22 10.5 respectively). Leaf area greater IF treatments. In Control (C) P Mg were higher; CTCi treatment N, K, Mn content; (Ci) Cu as well Ca, Fe, Zn, B contents lesser extent also P, Mg, Cu, contents. biomass partitioning coef ficient indicates six samples (from total seven samples), most photosynthates (PS) used by to form new leaves increase size leaves. If an alternative method desired, it recommended combination biofertilizer should used, such as, solution concentration nutrients crop.

Nucleic Acids of Chloroplasts and Mitochondria in Swiss Chard

Nucleic acids in young leaves of Swiss chard have been studied by light and electron microscope techniques. Leaf DNA has also been characterized by density gradient centrifugation and shown to contain a minor band of higher guanine plus cytosine (GC) content, presumably attributable to chloroplasts. The chloroplasts were faintly stained by the Feulgen reaction; radioautography demonstrated the ...
